Dr. William Watson founded Atlantic Veterinary Services in January 1994. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, at Virginia Tech, in May 1990.

His main goal has always been preventative medicine. He strongly believes that is it best to maintain good health with a program of solid nutrition, immunizations, protection from parasites, exercise, and training/socialization/behavior management. It is so much better to prevent a disease than to treat that same disease.

Dr. Emily Rouquie is originally from the Chesapeake, VA area. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech in 2006. She continued her education in Blacksburg, VA and received her D.V.M. from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.

Dr. Rouquie joined Atlantic Veterinary Services in June of 2011. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, cardiology and internal medicine. In her free time she loves to cheer on her Hokies, go to the beach, stay active and spend time with her very energetic and fun loving dog, Ellie.
